Merry CHRISTmas

I was sitting here trying to think of what Christmas message I'd like to send out to my readership this year. The very fact I can talk about having a readership is still a very humbling thought to me, and I wanted to send out a message to let you know that I appreciate you making me a part of your day.

I loved the Peanuts post I did last year, but I really can't repeat it. So here is my Christmas post for this year.

For God So Loved YOU that He gave His one and only Son, that when you believe in Him, you shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Have a very Merry and Safe Christmas!

You know, I liked your blog for a while.

It had to do with Warcraft, which was what I liked about it. Now, I can't figure out which I hate more: the amount of christian bullshit you try to squeeze in or the obsession with trying to be f'ing Matticus.

I liked you back then when this was a paladin blog with some personality on its own.

Well, it is really good to see someone spelling CHRISTmas the way I do. Fantastic message!

@Ataris,

Certain posts are labeled "Outside of Warcraft" specifically because they don't have anything to do with the game.

It's always a difficult decision to include references to my faith, but this was a post about CHRISTmas, and I felt it was appropriate.

I don't try to be Matticus, or BRK, but sometimes I read stuff over there and it inspires me to do stuff over here. I don't pretend to be in the same league as those guys, and I always make sure to give credit and linkage to those guys.

Merry CHRISTmas,

During the CHRISTmas season, a blogger chooses to reference his faith, and he is ridiculed for it. No one says anything about people that believe CHRISTmas is only about Santa and the gifts he brings, but mention something pertaining to the origin of this season and BAM...

Ataris, please tell me what is so offending about his message? I am going to assume, that if he had made a reference to the Menorah and the Jewish faith or Kwanzaa you would have slammed him...or anyone for that matter, for spouting that "garbage" too?

You say you like the blog when it was a Paladin blog...a blog with personality. You actually contradicted yourself. The fact that he posted a message outside of the normal...a message pertaining to the time of year...shows PERSONALITY. A lack of personality would have been wishing everyone a merry x-mass and going on with the rest of his day.

I have been reading this blog for over a year now, and up until this expansion have always been one tier behind you in raiding. I am not overly religious, I see you are but you're not forcing it on anyone. Know one put a gun to anyone's head and said "you must read this because it's on the blog today!" Your the man honors; do your thing and don't let any simple minded people tell you any differently.

A person's blog is they own, to talk about whatever is worthwhile to thems. A person is free ta read it, read some of it, or not read at all, but ta come in and criticize the subject matter of a post is bad manners.

Honor, I appreciates yer good wishes and I hopes you had a very nice Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you, too, Honors!

For every Ataris there's at least 100 open-minded, tolerant, thinking people. So, blog on, man!

P.S. Merry Christmas, Ataris!

As a fellow Christian and WoW player, I commend you. Christ said that we would be ridiculed in His name. So what if Ataris is offended. The Word will offend those it convicts.

It is great to see other Christians playing, we need more!

Merry Christmas Honor' Code! I will be bookmarking your site.
