It feels a lot more strategic than previous Civs I've played (3 and 4) and has the potential for a lot of depth.

City states are kind of an annoyance right now, but I think that's mostly because I haven't learned how to properly deal with them yet.

Also, the AI are complete dopes. I've yet to see an enemy civ properly arrange their troops/artillery for an attack. Or take proper advantage of terrain bonuses. That's kind of annoying.

I got a good laugh out of your closing "one last turn line", if only because your blog says that post went up at 1:45 am, haha.Rhidachhttp://rhida.chnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-91144042772247981702010-09-23T09:18:25.274-04:002010-09-23T09:18:25.274-04:00My 30minutes of game time turned into 2 hours of 1...My 30minutes of game time turned into 2 hours of 1 more turn...

Ah, how I missed this game.

My Siam civ landed on a fair size island with only 2 city-states, which allowed me to build a big number of cities early in the game. (Just had to squash the constant Barbs).

Sitting in early AD, with a very strong base, expanding across the oceans to conquer the rest.Dracomagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13831401352522431903noreply@blogger.com
