Since I'm not in a progression guild or anything like that, I sacrfice certain things for more fun in pvp, like imp HOJ. :) Prot can be super fun times, especially in WG with like 10 stacks of tenacity :DDivine Justicenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-48332083617072315712009-09-23T10:46:37.743-04:002009-09-23T10:46:37.743-04:00PoJ debates can reach near religious fervor, so I&...PoJ debates can reach near religious fervor, so I'm not going to try to engage in one here.

Basically some people love it, some people are kind of 'meh' about it and some people don't see the need for it.

I'm now in the Pro-PoJ camp. Hodir Hard and Icehowl are probably the two biggest fights that make me appreciate PoJ. I'm sure you can get by pretty well without it. I see this seal as very good one for 5 mans and add pick up. I have been playing around with it but need to do some more online work to see if it chains on Judgements, Sheild of Righteousness and auto attacks being as they are our only single target attacks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-60406533200146365042009-09-23T00:22:06.607-04:002009-09-23T00:22:06.607-04:00AM is mandatory for several hardmodes. AM/Devo or AM/Resist auras as personal tanking cooldowns is just icing.

Imp. LoH is too long a cooldown when you're chainpulling, sure, but working on hardmodes where an /attempt/ takes 7-10 minutes, + 5 minutes to debrief/rebuff between pulls, and it's generally up whenever you want it to be for anything other than Algalon.

It's by no means the only way to spec, but it's certainly worth considering for some raids.Feistnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-43815147949611790352009-09-22T22:42:41.463-04:002009-09-22T22:42:41.463-04:00I ran Aura Mastery/Improved Lay On Hands extensive...I ran Aura Mastery/Improved Lay On Hands extensively and found it wasn't a huge increase in survivability. I certainly wouldn't call it a 'progression' build.

LoH is still too long a cooldown even with it fully talented. I prefer the survival and threat of 53/18.

Having said all that, Fiest raids at a whole different level that I do, so perhaps Imp LoH/AM makes more sense in that setting.Honors Codehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10603644804340531952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-67617632266193603672009-09-22T17:37:46.226-04:002009-09-22T17:37:46.226-04:00SotP also moves you up to Imp LoH & Aura Maste...SotP also moves you up to Imp LoH & Aura Mastery. But on the other hand if it's just going to more over healing then it's not helping at all.

Do you think this would depend on the type of healer you have behind you? I.e. having a druid healer who doesn't throw out the big heals as much vs. a pally healer.
