Maybe if they reduce the damage reduction a bit.

Though it does depend somewhat on how big hits are in new content. If things are always hitting you for 70% of your health, then you are mitigating an absurd amount of damage. If things are hitting you for 20% of your health, it won't matter as much. In some ways, this is a nice counterbalance to block, which works well on tiny hits and not so well on large hits.Argonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-55772769384132803242009-06-24T12:04:47.869-04:002009-06-24T12:04:47.869-04:00Vene:

I might have gotten a little soapbox going there at the end and may have overdone it a bit.Honors Codehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10603644804340531952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-66246628533138601842009-06-24T12:03:44.770-04:002009-06-24T12:03:44.770-04:00Argent: Most of the discussions I've seen vary...Argent: Most of the discussions I've seen vary widely based upon the gear used (tier, offset, etc.) Usually the person making the comparision is doing so to prove a point and generally will use gear set ups that illustrate his own point.

Warriors start off with a fairly healthy advantage over Paladins in base health. It's somewhat mitigated by the Paladins superior stamina scaling.Honors Codehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10603644804340531952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3190673057769546823.post-47719929996177300532009-06-24T11:53:32.797-04:002009-06-24T11:53:32.797-04:00"The important thing to realize is that addin..."The important thing to realize is that adding this powerful ability to Paladin toolkit, it still would not make Paladins far and away better than any other tank; it simply brings them to parity."

This is a pretty weak point to make as there's no way to test it and no parameters even given for what would test it. I think that AD is going to make Paladins far and away better and that's why AD is still going to get nerfed from what it is atm. (or at least changed) I have nothing to support that statement either of course so we'll both have to wait and see how Patchwerk test dummy figures look.
