That is my 1 qualm with it. Its difficult to read your posts with the lack of contrast between text and the semi transparent background. Perhaps switching just the text color to black would help.
I actually like the white-on-transparent-cyan. It's distinguished, readable, and looks nice. The picture in the background is a great shot too. Unfortunately, at my current resolution of 1680 by 1050, there is a big blue band across the top and left of the screen which really spoils the layout.
As much as I like the background pic, I don't see how you're going to be able to make it work with a layout that scales well to all resolutions. See if you can cut a section of the photo into a good-looking header bar, then tile something pleasant-looking across the bulk of the window behind your posts.
Honors, Galoheart's right; maybe if you tune down the transparency a little it might be quite more readable.
I'm going for the same look on my blog (http://masochistpaladin.blogspot.com, WIP as I choose warcraft elements for separators, etc), the whole "StormWind Cathedral" theme, but I chose the blue carpet as a background since it's a dark background under white/yellow text.
For a final suggestion: take your own in-game screnshot. Who cares about a paladin human? We want our dwarf tankadin up there! :)
I've reduced the transparency so the site should be much more readable. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the image, but I think ultimately some sort of tiling appraoch is going to be nessessary, and yes, I will get a pic of old Honorshammer up soon.

Am I the only one who liked it the old way? I thought it looked cooler and was more readable.

I'm going to keep working on the transparency and color scheme to get it more readable.
Thanks for your comments! Keep them coming.
