After what seemed like an eternity, Honorshammer finally got Exalted with Sons Of Hodir. I upgraded my shoulder enchants, and bought the Smooth Autumn's Glow pattern. Doing SoH Dailies on Altar of Storms is a bit of challenge. For the most part, the Horde and Alliance leave each other alone. Everyone just wants to get their dailies done and get back to whatever it is they really want to be doing. Every now and again, you'll get an ambitious Rogue or Death Knight who will decided they want to engage in some PVP. Given the population imbalance on Altar of Storms, this is almost always a Horde Rogue or Death Knight. Usually a couple of Alliance will team up (or gang up depending on which side of the Faction fence you sit) to take on the Horde. Invariably, he will this is 'unfair' and call for help for the 'ganking Alliance'. My personal favorite PVP encounter was deep in the cave where you get the oil for Polishing the Helm. (This post contains information about Wrath of the Lich King, read at your own risk) One of the new features that I am personally looking forward to in Wrath of the Lich King is the Achievement System. These are various tasks and feats you can accomplish. Some grant a spiffy title to your character and some earn you Achievement points which you can spend for as of yet unspecified rewards of intrinsic and material value (at least in game). One of these Achievements is to obtain Exalted with Argent Dawn and Argent Crusade. The Argent Crusade is a new faction in Wrath of the Lich King, but the Argent Dawn exists now. I'm only about halfway through Honored with the Argent Dawn, mainly through questing in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands as I was leveling up. There is another Achievement for becoming Exalted with all your factions Captial Cities. This carries with it the title Ambassador. DING! Exalted Aldor. This is a goal I've been working on since my first day in Shattrah, but it seemed like there was always another goal that was more immediate and took precedance. In addition, getting Aldor rep could be gained almost as a side effect of other activities like questing to level 70, doing my dailies, or running Shadow Labs. It was never something I really went out of my way to get. Until I got close to Exalted. Being so close, I wanted to see it completed. I flew out to Legion Hold, gathered up a bunch of the WraithWalkers and went to town. I couldn't take them in as large of packs as the Demon Hunter Supplicants because they were not as tightly packed and they have a magic damage attack which you have to run out of. With 3 or 4 of them doing it, it was hard to find a place to run out and not take fire damage.
