(I'm fighting a bit of a head cold, so we shall blame any lack of coherency in this post on that.) I went ahead and finished up the rest of Dragonblight. Black Dragonshrine The next area I went to was the Dragonshrine for the Black Dragons. First of all, it was very weird working for the Black Dragons as they were mainly villains in Vanilla Wow (aka Level 60 cap). The Black Dragons are still what I would call evil, but are being kept in check by the large forces of Red Dragons in Northrend. The Black Dragonshrine is dark and confusing and I can't tell you how many times I got lost trying to do various quests in there. It was suggested to me by a guildy that the area was a copy of the instance map for Ragefire Chasm which I had run on a my Horde characters but not in a very long time. (This post contains major, HUGE spoilers. I figured most everyone has done Dragonblight by this point ,as I'm leveling a bit slower than most, but thou hast been warned) I had more fun in game the past couple of nights than I have in a really long time. The questlines were amazingly engaging, and I allowed myself to really get lost in the story. One quest that was a ton of fun was the quest for the Bronze Dragonflight (yeah, Chromie!!). You get to fight alongside the 'Future You'. My 'Future You' was wearing the exact same gear I have now, so I don't think that was completely accurate. He did leave me with some wonderful of advice: Apparently my 'Future You' thinks I'm undergeared. One of the cool moments in the quests was when I met up with Highlord Bolvar Fordragon to take on the Duskbringer. I loved it when Fordragon said he remembered how I had helped him during 'that little incident in Stormwind' (for my Onyxia attunement). ...

Fedaykin98 had requested that I post the loot rules I was had planned on using for my guild if I had started it up. What follows is the requested post. I explicitly give you permission to copy and paste these loot rules for use in your own guild, and I would be very interested to hear about how well they worked, and what problems need to be further addressed by the system. These loot rules were designed under the assumption that my guild would have been mainly focused on 10 man content and would have only been doing 25 mans in conjunction with another guild like Heroes Inc. Here is what the loot system looked like: We use a modified Roll system. Everyone who fought the Boss has a 'shot' at loot, maybe not a real good 'shot', but a shot nonetheless. Getting a piece of loot will most likely make it difficult to obtain loot from the next Boss. If the item is an upgrade for you, you can roll on it. Dear Leaders of the Horde, I was but a young lad of a dwarf, having just received me Warhorse when I found meself in the Arathi Highlands. I found this sign for a place called Hammerfall. This sounded like a very fine name for a drawf town so I decided to check it out. Imagine my surprise when I find meself under attack by Orc guards. This should have been a lesson to me, but sometimes a dwarf forgets those lessons over the months and years of adventuring. So it was that I found a sign for Agmond's Hammer in Dragonblight. This, too, sounded like a fine name for a dwarf town so I decided to see what sort of wonderful Northrend ale they might 'ave on tap. It was a great surprise when I found myself under attack by the Horde guards. I'm mostly a peaceable Paladin, and I really don't want to be startin' a war by going into your towns. Do ya think you could stop naming them with such Dwarf sounding names?

Today in the United States we celebrate Thanksgiving. I have so many things to be thankful for this year. My family, and my friends both online and out there in the 'real' world top that list. I am also thankful to be gainfully employed in a job I enjoy. I really have more blessings than I can count. I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving this year! Honorshammer

When you grabbed them, your character says, "Come with me if you want to live." It was great to be able to fly again, but adding that line was wicked cool. Basically what I'm going to do is run down your gear slots from helm to boots and show you the upgrades along the way in Northrend. I'm going to follow 6 mythical Paladins and show where each one will start finding upgrades along the way.
